Halloween!!

(Our best "family picture" we could get...at least we tried)

Happy Halloween!

I am just going to warn you now, that this post is going to be long and very picture filled...because now that we're back in Utah, and Marty is here on leave for the week, we went ahead and packed our Halloween weekend full of things to do. So consider yourselves warned.

Now...jumping right into our spooky celebrations:

First up was Brielle's Halloween Parade at school.  Apparently because of being told "don't look at people or smile or be crazy" last year for her kindergarten graduation, she thinks that applies everywhere, she was trying so hard not to be silly.  She's so funny. And FYI, she's a Rock Star.

Saturday we had a SWEET party at my brother and sister-in-law's house.  Before heading out we got some nice pictures of everyone dressed up.  This was Brielle's  "Rock Star/Attituce" face.

Then it changed to a little sweeter.

Claire the Cat

The ONLY picture I got of Addison in her witch dress.  She was supposed to be a butterfly...had on her butterfly wings and we were ready to go, when she suddenly refused to wear them anymore.  Thankfully my sister, Aspen, had loaned us some dress ups to use for costumes and Addison was willing to wear this little dress.

Marty...the nerd - thank you Army issued glasses. (Although he says he was a "hipster" because those people think they look cool, but they really look like nerds.)

My dad - a construction worker (the kids wanted to know where he got all those cool make believe tools, because apparently they don't realize that people have real tools.)

My mom - the crossing guard/jogger.  She was having an identity crisis and couldn't decide which it was.

Some cool people

At the party, FUN was had, as well as AMAZING food and decorations.  My sister-in-law, Sara, goes all out and throws the BEST parties!  When we were getting in the car to head home, I asked the girls if they had fun.  They both yelled "Yes!  It was the BEST"  I'm pretty sure Claire added "It was SUPER DUPER fun, the best party EVER!"

For some reason Addison loves laying on the floor whenever we go anywhere...I don't get it.  She was just chilling there blocking the stairs.

And one more of my nerd/hipster.

Of course our Halloween celebrations ended tonight with trick-or-treating with the cousins

Brielle was a little bit more of a hardcore rock star this time around...and she tried to have the attitude to match in the pictures.

Claire the cat...still just as cute as can be.

And Addison the witch...I did manage to get a couple pictures of her, but still not great.

And there you have our JAM PACKED Halloween weekend.
Thank goodness for diet coke and all the chocolate that the kids went and gathered for me...I'm going to need it!
