Master Bathroom - Finally

So, I realize that we have lived in this house for almost a year, and now I'm finally getting around to posting these pictures.  And it's also sad that we've got the house looking all perfect just in time to move. :(  Oh well...here is the master bathroom!

We didn't change much in here other than the knobs on the cupboards and put our own towels and decorations up.

I really love this big bathroom though, it has been so nice.  The kids (and I) love the huge jetted tub, and two sinks is heavenly.

Addison Funnies

Addison is really starting to come up with some HILARIOUS things lately.  She has us laughing all the time (well...when she isn't making us want to scream)

These are just a few of the random things I happened to remember to write down.

******************************

When we were up north visiting and were at Marty's parent's house, the girls' were doing something that happened to kind of gross out Marty's mom (oh how I wish I could remember what it was!).  She said something about not being able to watch when people do that.  And Addison said to her, "Well, you don't have to watch us."

******************************

Addison was singing 'The Sun Will Come Out' song from Annie, although her words were a little better:  "The Sun Will Come Out...TOMORROW....but your bottom....[thinking]...won't."

******************************

Addison was learning about the letter R in preschool, so we were asking her what she wanted to take for show and tell.  We started listing things that started with R, and she decided to take a rabbit.  She has a hard time saying her R's sometimes, especially if it's at the beginning of a word, although she can easily make the R sound...anyway, we had this little conversation.

Me:  So what are you taking for show and tell?
A: A wabbit!
Me:  A Rabbit?
A: Yep, a wabbit.
Me:  Not wabbit, Rabbit.  Say rrrrrr...
A:  rrrrrrr
Me:  abbit.
A:  abbit.
Me:  Good, so rrrrrrrr abbit.
A:  rrrrrr  wabbit.
Me:  No, don't pause, just rrrrrabbit.
A:  rrrrrr wabbit.
Me:  OK, try one more time.  rrrrrabbit.
A:   rrrrrabbit.
Me:  Good job!  You said it!
A:  Yeah!  Wabbit!

Then Marty jumps in and says: "This conversation is getting ridiculous.  Can you say ridiculous, Addison?"
Addison:  widiclious (our favorite is instead of 'ulous' she says 'lious' so funny)

We gave up.

******************************

Molly slept in one morning, so Marty and I said something about her probably not getting a nap that day.  Addison said, "What?  No nap for Molly, but then she'll be FWEAKING tired!"

******************************

When I was picking Addison up from preschool one day, she wanted to swing for a minute (her teacher has swings in the front yard hanging from a tree).  So I was pushing her and she kept yelling "Mom, do the one!  I want you to do the one!"  I wasn't sure what that meant, so I kept saying "I don't know what the one is, what do you mean?"  She got more and more frustrated and was yelling "THE ONE MOM!"  I still had no idea what she was saying.  So she finally said, "Mom...you know...with your feet!" and used her fingers like legs and ran across her hand with them.  I finally caught on.  She wasn't saying ONE, she was saying RUN.  This whole not saying R's makes for some funny conversations.

******************************

Addison say's Brielle's name "Bee-elle".  It was bothering Brielle the other day, because she assumed Addison was doing it to be annoying.  The three of us had this conversation:

Brielle:  Addison...my name is NOT Bee-elle!  It's BRIELLE!
Addison:  I know, Bee-elle.
Brielle:  NO, Brielle...with an R.
Addison: Yeah, Bee-elle!
[this goes on for a few minutes]
Me:  Brielle, you know she can't always say her R's.  She isn't trying to tease you or be mean, she's just saying your name how she can.  Remember how we tried to get her to say rabbit and she couldn't?
Brielle:  OK.
Addison:  Yeah Rabbit (completely pronouncing the R better than ever before)
Me: [looking in disbelief] Seriously?  You're going to throw it out now after all that?

She just laughed.

******************************

[This was a Facebook status recently]
Addison keeps bringing me papers that she has folded and claims are "birthday cards" for me, even though my birthday is over a month way. I told her thank you, and she said. "I had to make them, because my boss told me to. He said it's almost your birthday, so I did what he told me." I asked her who her boss was, and she said "A ghost. He lives in a hole in our house. He's kind of dark so I can't see him good. You knock on this tile to talk to him."
................uh............she's a little creepy.

******************************

While I was doing Addison's hair one morning, she was looking in the mirror and making faces.  Then she said, "Look, I can make my nose look like a burrito!"  She then opened her mouth up big into an O.  I asked her how that made her nose look like a burrito, and she said it was because her mouth was in an oval shape.  I said, again, I wasn't sure how that made her nose look like a burrito and she said, "Because...my nose is JUST SO FLEXIBLE!!"

                                                   ******************************

Addison: Mom, I know it's you, but you look kind of different today.
Me: Oh really?
Addison: Yeah, like it's still you, just different. Did you maybe forget to put your makeup on today?
Me: Nope.
Addison: Well, it looks like you did. So you look different.

Thank you, Addison, for the self esteem boost on my makeup skills.

Cell Phone Pictures

Time for random cell phone pictures again!  These aren't really in order...and I'm too lazy to try and rearrange them to be in order.  But oh well!  They're still all cute pictures!

Addison had her Valentine's Day party in preschool and wanted to wear Valentine's clothes and have Valentine's hair.  This is what we came up with.

Valentine's Day was rough for Molly.  She wasn't feeling her best, she had fallen and smashed her nose into the fireplace a day or two prior and had a black eye/nose (can't see it in the picture very well), wouldn't nap and hadn't slept great at night.  Around 6 p.m., she finally crashed on the couch.

The girls' got to make Valentine's Day boxes this year for their school parties.  It's the first year we've done that, so they were very excited!

Addison's preschool wanted them to try and do a box with an 'R' theme, because that was the letter they had just talked about.  So she did a rabbit.  Turned out cute!

Brielle made a 'Love Bug'

I don't think Claire had a real theme, just stuck decorations on it.  I did hear her later say it was a robot...so maybe after she realized her sisters had a theme, she chose something.

Addison and Molly love to color

This is Molly's 'cheese' face.

Molly had watched her sisters do summersaults a few times and kept trying to do one herself.  This is as far as she'd get though, then she'd just sit there balanced for a while until she fell over sideways.

Molly and Addison think it is SO funny when I turned my cell phone camera to the front camera so they can look at themselves.  These are pictures of them looking at themselves.

The girls' LOVE climbing our trees out by our driveway.  They were hanging purses and bags on the branches and using it as their house the other afternoon.
That same afternoon was a BEAUTIFUL day, and they spent most of it outside riding bikes, climbing the tree and just having fun.
(excuse Addison's belly showing...she got herself dressed and had at least three purses she was carrying around)

Molly chose her own outfit that day too.  It was in the 70's, so I'm not sure how she wasn't super hot, but she wanted all those clothes on.

I found this bowling pin from Ben in a box I was going through out in the garage.  Brought back some great memories.  I brought it inside now though instead of just sitting in a box so I can see it every day.

And just a few more random pictures of the girls' being cute/funny.

There we have it!  Spring is starting to show itself here in St. George and we've been LOVING IT!  Life is going pretty good!

#5 Is a BOY!

Some exciting things happening around these parts!  We just found out on Monday that our final little baby, #5, is a BOY!

We are shocked and thrilled.

And before you worry that I've jinxed myself by publicly announcing this is our last baby, I am being serious.  After already having 4 c-sections, and discussing things between Marty, myself and my doctor, we know this is it and there will be surgical stoppage to more babies after this one.  My body can't handle any more...my emotional well being should have probably stopped long ago. :)

I had kind of hoped that we could finish off with a boy, but went in assuming it would be another girl, based on our track record.  I would have been happy with a girl, obviously, and already had three girl names to choose from that we loved (Lucy, Charlotte and Grace...in case you wondered).  But we are SO excited to get our own little boy!  Although I don't have a list of boy names that I really like.  It's completely starting over. I have a big list of names I think are "OK" and will have to sort of sort through them I guess.

Anyway, we announced to the girls by doing a box with helium balloons in it.  Before they opened it, we asked them what they all thought the baby was.  Brielle said girl, Addison said boy, Claire said boy...and Molly is clueless.  Then Marty got a phone call, so we had to pause for a minute.  He came back and asked again what they thought it was.  This time Brielle changed her answer to boy, Addison changed to girl, (she changes her mind every time we ask) and Claire stuck with boy.

We asked Brielle why she changed her mind this time, and she said if it was a girl, we would have probably just said "Hey, this new baby is another girl".  But since we're doing a bigger thing, it must be a boy.

Smart girl that Brielle.

Anyway, here are the pictures from announcing to the girls.  (We did video too...but I'm not sure how to get that off the camera, we need to find a cord or something.)

Marty was videoing them and asking what they thought the baby was.

Anxiously waiting while Marty was on the phone

Then we told them to go ahead and open the box!

Trying to decide how they feel about it.

Claire was definitely the most excited.  Brielle was OK with it (after I assured her that since she's going to be much older than him, he won't be able to torture her like Ben tortured me...guess I should have chosen my stories of growing up with a brother better.)  Addison was excited too and can't stop talking about her little brother.  Molly just liked having a balloon.

So we'll have the official target ultrasound on the 25th to nail down a due date (it's changed a couple times) but this baby should be joining us late June, early July!  SO EXCITED!
