Molly - 6 Months Old

Despite the way this pictures looks, Molly is our sunshine girl and is ALWAYS happy and smiling...unless we are holding a camera.

So...in case the title didn't give it away, Molly is now officially 6 months old.  But don't you worry, I won't bore you with my ramblings about how this 6 months has FLOWN by, and I can't believe my baby is half way to being a 1 year old, and that I wish she would just stop growing up...oh, look at that.  I just went ahead and rambled anyway.

Oh well, what can you do?

At 6 months, Molly has mastered rolling both ways, and can roll across a room now...we are in trouble with this girl.  She hasn't quite mastered sitting up on her own, because she's too busy wiggling and trying to grab everything she can possibly shove in her mouth.

Here are a bunch of pictures of our beautiful baby girl...who was a big stinker about smiling for the camera.  I would move the camera away from my face and she'd be smiling up a storm, but as soon as she could see the camera she would get very serious.

Internal Laughter

*This is just too funny not to blog...I know I put it on Facebook, but I have to document it on here as well*

The other morning, Claire came into my room when she woke up and was sitting on the end of my bed chatting with me.  As is typical with Claire, she always makes me laugh.  

The winning conversation that morning went like this:

"Hey, mom, guess what?  I can laugh inside my head!"

***Silently staring at me for a good 30 seconds***

"See?!  Pretty awesome, huh?"

I, of course, was thoroughly impressed by her awesomeness.

Campbell Family Reunion 2012

Over Memorial Day weekend, we were lucky enough to head down to St. George for the Campbell reunion.  (My mom is a Campbell.)  The family is growing like crazy, so we do a big reunion every other year.

I really don't have a lot of words, it was just SO fun!  Lots of laughing, hanging out, swimming, playing and just being together.  It was very hard to come back home to the mundane same old stuff after a relaxing weekend.

So, without further ado...here are some pictures!

Brielle and Claire were sharing a bed.  I found them like this the first night and had to get a picture.  When I told Brielle that they were cuddling in their sleep, she got a horrified look on her face and said, "Really?  Are you being serious?"  Each night after that they were pretty far apart, facing opposite ways.

One of my cousins teaches Zumba, and did an impromptu class one morning.  

Much laughing and fun ensued.

We had a WONDERFUL time, and can't wait to do it again in two years.

Claire's Preschool Graduation

Claire graduated preschool towards the end of May...WHAT THE HECK?!  I can't believe my little Claire Bear will be in kindergarten in the fall.  It seems so much crazier with her then it did with Brielle.  My theory is that your first child is such a ridiculously life altering adjustment, that by the time they reach preschool and kindergarten age, you feel like they've been around forever and are ready.  But the subsequent children aren't that life altering of an adjustment and you still think of them as babies...or maybe it's just me.

Anywho...Claire had her little program and did a great job.  Her cousin (and BFF) Joel was in the same preschool, just in the morning class, and they combined to do the program.  It was so fun being able to see them both singing the songs they learned.  

It's the same story as with Brielle's program, I was holding a video camera with one hand and the regular camera with the other...plus I had Addison and Molly with me and was trying to keep Addison from wandering around the backyard to play on the toys while they were singing, so I only got a few pictures of the actual program.

Even though I'm sad that Claire is growing up so fast, I am looking forward to having 2 in "regular school" so I don't have to worry so much about walking groups and carpools and all that headache...but that's a whole other story.
