A Break from Working

 We took a little break from working on the living room  to play outside today.  It was definitely much needed.

I tried to take the opportunity to get some 1 year old pictures of Addison (a couple months late)...that went a bit like this:

Hey, what are the neighbors doing?

Not willing to let go of the ball, even when trying to stand up.

So then I remembered how much she loves the trampoline, and thought for SURE I'd get some good ones on there.  No worries, the tramp has a net enclosure and I risked my life and well-being to get on the tramp with the children. 

At first I wasn't so sure I was right about her loving it.

But THEN she started having fun.

Unfortunately "fun" doesn't always equal "good pictures".

(Brielle isn't as close to Addison as the picture looks, she is not about to body slam the baby.)

Then Claire was the "monster in the middle".  She took the role very seriously.

But the monster got a little flirtatious. 

Brielle finally stopped long enough for me to get a picture of her.  She's growing up TOO FAST!

SO glad the rain stopped and the sun was out today.  

Definitely helped pass the time and make some kids a little happier.

Now...back to work.

Living Room Re-Do: Part I

Busy.

Sick kids (what's new?)

Rearranging furniture.

Bartering,selling, haggling, buying, exchanging, annoying, happy, excited, waiting.

So much left to do, those design shows that get it done in 30 minutes are obviously not reality. 

Considering painting now?  No...too much work.

Pictures coming...eventually! 

(When we get the last few touches...seriously, this takes longer than I thought!)

Little Curly Sue

You may notice an EXTREME lack of pictures of both Addison and Brielle on the blog lately, and an abundance of pictures of Claire.  The reasons for this are:

1. Brielle has decided she hates having her picture taken. 

2. Addison is crazy...getting pictures of her is HARD. 

3. Claire is OBSESSED with having her picture taken and strikes pose after pose after pose while I click away.

Anywho, I am trying to remedy that a little and am going to make a better effort to get pictures of ALL the kids.  (I still really need to try and get a good 1 year old picture of Addison done...and she's almost 14 months old, oops!)

Anyway, here are some cute pictures of Addison.  Her hair has really started to curl a ton lately (which I'm LOVING) and it makes her even that much cuter, if that's really even possible.  It's especially this way when her hair is nice and clean right after a bath.

 Her eyes are starting to get a little lighter and are looking a little more green lately.  They are definitely not blue like we thought they'd be when she was a newborn, and for a while they've been quite dark.  But just recently we've noticed they seem to be lightening up a tiny.  They're still darker than the other girls for sure.

Oh, and she's obsessed with toothbrushes.
