Guess who's 7 months old?

Yes, you're right...it's Brody! 

 How did you guess?  You deserve a prize...chocolate for everyone!
Except not for Brody.  He'll just have a nice warm bottle.

Brody is just the best baby ever.  He is happy and content and patient and adorable.  He is a flirt and smiles and coos at everyone we see.  He gets passed around at church as people can hardly stand how cute he is.  We rarely get through sacrament meeting without taps on our shoulders and "Hey...pass him over".  And so far he hasn't entered the stranger danger phase too much and he goes happily to anyone.

Brody is one curious little guy.  He is rolling around, but not crawling - thankfully - but his eyes are always wide open taking everything in, and NOTHING is safe if it's within his reach.  He's just too busy sometimes to sit and actually smile for pictures.

Brody is a CHUBBY little guy.  He weighs about 18 pounds...which I think is hilarious.  All the girls were barely making it to 20 pounds by the time they turned 1.  He was 18 pounds at his 6 month checkup.

Molly wanted to sit by Brody for a picture.  Brody was wildly flinging this little fishing pole around and smacked Molly on the foot with it...I captured her reaction while taking pictures.

Folding arms to pout...Brody couldn't care less.  He's still waving that fishing pole all around.

One day a couple weeks ago, Molly surprised us by coming down the stairs in some beautiful makeup she had gotten into.  (for those who have asked...it was costume makeup.  That is the only reason we have those colors)  Apparently the sight of her was HILARIOUS to Brody.  He just laughed and laughed when she would say "Hi" to him.  Sorry the video is weird, I was crouched at the bottom of the stairs with him balanced on one leg and trying to hold my phone with the other hand to get them interacting. But the video is worth the watch!

And in this video, Brody is just happily bouncing away in his jumper while also figuring out how to shake his head "no".  Cracks me up!
